Societies Fairs

When: Wednesday, Thursday 10.00-16.00

Where: Pleasance

What: A great way to interact with the new Freshers and welcome them to the uni. Please sign-up for a shift e.g. an hour slot. If you can do more than two hour slots then either email them to us or fill in the form above twice.

Church Search

When: Sunday 9.30 and 17.00

Where: Library Steps

What: Looking for a church in Edinburgh? Hear about different churches from students who go, then be taken along to the church of your choice. Sign-ups needed for people to represent their church.

Free Lunch

When: Monday, Wednesday 13.00-14.00 and Friday 1400-15.00

Where: Bristo Square

What: Feeling hungry? Take advantage of some free food at Bristo Square. If it’s raining find us in the chaplaincy. Sign-ups needed for people to bring sandwiches/crisps etc. and volunteer cooks.

Grub Crawl

When: Tuesday 17.30

Where: Commonwealth Pool Steps

What: Free food! 4 courses, 4 flats, 1 excellent way to meet new people. We are looking for flats willing to host a meal and people willing to direct the crowds and be friendly.

Ceilidh

When: Friday 20.00

Where: McEwan Hall

What: The biggest and best ceilidh of the year in the magnificent McEwan Hall. Miss it, miss out! Sign-ups needed for door-men (no experience required) and water helpers.

Stroll Up Arthurs Seat

When: Monday 11.30

Where: Outside the Pollock gates

What: A leisurely stroll up Arthur’s Seat to enjoy the spectacular Edinburgh views. Just to get freshers chatting.
